FOUNDERS
Cassio Sanchez Miranda
Born in Santos, he is a renowned former professional Brazilian freesurfer with extensive national and international experience. Recognized for his technique and innovation, he has dedicated himself to improving the sport and culture of surfing throughout his career. In addition to his career as an athlete, Cassio has always been aware of the challenges faced by the surfing community — especially the difficulty of monetization and the lack of sponsorships that affect most Brazilian surfers. Knowing the reality of athletes and the entire market up close, Cassio decided to transform his experience into action. As the founder of BIGSTEIN (owner of the SURFNSTEIN platform), Cassio channels his knowledge and experience to create a global platform made by surfers for surfers, which offers monetization opportunities for the entire surfing production chain. In this project, Cassio seeks to integrate technology, culture and sport, aiming to democratize access, encourage the generation of content and connect generations, promoting the sustainable evolution of surfing in Brazil and around the world.
Helber Macedo Campregher
A technology enthusiast since the age of 13, Helber has built a solid career as an entrepreneur and executive. Throughout his career, he has founded several software solutions companies—some of which have become leaders or benchmarks in their respective markets—with prominent roles in industry and the financial sector. Now, he's taking a new step in his journey by accepting Cassio's invitation to co-found Bigstein—a sports-focused initiative with an initial focus on surfing and global ambitions. For Helber, this change represents more than a new frontier: it's the chance to apply his technology expertise to causes different from his usual ones. A native of Santos, and although he's not a surfer (yet!), he's always been immersed in this world. Participating in the creation of a Santos project with the potential to positively impact the world is an honor and a source of pride for him. Helber defines himself in a simple and authentic way: Entrepreneur, Metalhead, Traveler and Father — four pillars that translate his passion for creating, exploring, living intensely and taking care of what really matters.
